Improv for Special People

Blast Off and Brevard Achievement Center take the stage

Blast Off and Brevard Achievement Center take the stage

Following eight weeks of intense practice, the students from Brevard Achievement Center took the stage on October 19th, 2017 at the Maxwell King Center for the Performing Arts. The fifth annual Performing Arts Showcase featured talent from local schools and the BAC singing, dancing, drumming, and showing their improv skills.

The BAC team, led by their coach Erick Terhune, performed an environment game. Erick shouted out a place and the team had to embody a person or object that could be found there. In the zoo, there were a couple of giraffes and monkeys.  At the beach, we saw a surfer catch a wave while others took a swim.

Thank you to the people at the Brevard Achievement Center and the VSA for making this showcase possible.

We will miss our weekly classes with the performers at BAC but hope to be back soon for fun and laughs.
